Founded in 1972, Grupo Cierco is a family holding company headquartered in Andorra with presence in international markets. Our business operations comprise five key sectors: tobacco industry, food distribution, energy, hotels sector and real estate.

Since 1972, Industries Montanya Tabac has established itself as the leading manufacturer and distributor of tobacco in Andorra. Under the Philip Morris license, we produce and market worldwide brands such as Marlboro, Chesterfield and L&M. With an annual production capacity of 1.2 billion cigarettes, our facilities are certified to ISO 9001 and 14001 standards, ensuring the highest quality and sustainability standards at each stage of the process.
Montcierc MX is our new project in Jalisco, Mexico, in collaboration with Philip Morris Mexico, it aims to consolidate our presence in the tobacco industry. With over 100 employees, we are supporting the local economy and introducing specialist skills. This project reinforces our commitment to excellence and to industry partnerships.
Since 2003, Indústries Montanya Alimentació & ASG has specialised in the distribution of food and beverages in Andorra, for the Horeca and retail sectors. With a portfolio of over 1,000 customers, we provide a broad range of products from dry and canned foods to wine and gourmet products.
We have a robust infrastructure including our own warehouses, a distribution fleet and a dedicated technical support service, enabling us to efficiently and effectively serve the entire Andorran territory.
Since 1997, Petrolis Principat has been providing energy to over 500 homes and to many vehicles in Andorra. We have four petrol stations strategically located in Sant Julià, Santa Coloma, Encamp and el Tarter, under the Shell name, guaranteeing quality fuel supply.
Furthermore, we run the SUMA convenience stores at these locations, providing a wide range of products and services to meet the needs of our customers.
Plaza Hotels & Resorts is an internationally renowned hotel chain, owning and managing three hotels in Andorra, two of which are five star. Notably, the Hotel Grand Plaza, is a benchmark in the Andorran hotel industry.
Recently, we have expanded our operations to Spain with the opening of Talaia Plaza Ecoresort in Begur, Girona, a pioneering site encapsulating sustainable tourism and environmental sensitivity. Our hotel division is committed to provide excellent service as well as promoting the social inclusion and well-being of our partners.
